The University of Colorado Solar Decathlon Team is designing an amazing Solar Home.
From their site: “The University of Colorado (CU) at Boulder and Denver 2005 National Solar Decathlon Team is designing another solar-powered house for the next National Solar Decathlon Competition on the National Mall in Washington DC. The CU Team holds the 1st Place Trophy from the 2002 competition and we’re looking to defend our title in 2005. We’ve taken a fresh approach to solar home design for the 2005 house to accommodate changing American lifestyles and energy needs.”

Comments are sorta kinda broken right now. We're working on it but to save energy can only work in daytime when solar system is at peak performance.
