A Corporate Take On Things
While doing some personal shopping today, I was pleased to see Apple's extensive section on the environment and how they, as a company, are trying to lessen their impact on it. Apple writes, "At Apple, environmental considerations are an integral part of our business practices. From the earliest stages of design through manufacturing, use and recycling, we take care to minimize the environmental impact of our activities. Three areas in which we focus considerable attention are materials management, energy efficiency and recycling, which are key elements of a product’s lifecycle." Well said; and it seems that they mean it too!

I agree that it is a good thing.
And, while I love Apple products, they do seem to use a lot of packaging for some items. Is it more than normal or than is needed? I cannot say. I guess I could compare how much packaging they use vs. other compaines for a similar sized item.
