Reusing and Recycling Technotrash
An often discussed topic here on Greenthinkers, technotrash (obsolete or discarded electronic devices and materials such as cell phones, computers televisions, printers, inkjet & toner cartridges cartridges and recharagable batteries) usually has little or no remaining value unless it can be collected into large processable batches for recycling.
And that is exactly what Washinton-based Green Disk is all about - offering a service that assures that all intellectual property is destroyed and the materials recycled.
One especially interesting thing (especially in the age of increased reliance on disc-styled media, not to mention the increasing production of disposable dvds - thanks Wired) Green Disk has going is recycled office supplies and computer accessories.
Great stuff!
