From September 16th until October 30th Toronto Hydro is giving every Toronto household 2 FREE compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs at any Bright Ideas event at The Home Depot!

Why? Because changing to these light bulbs will save money and power.

Did you know…

  • You can save approximately $27 in energy costs over the life of a compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulb.Compact fluorescent lights (CFLs) last up to ten times longer than incandescent bulbs.
  • You only need to replace CFLs every five to six years - saving you money in the cost of replacement bulbs.
  • CFLs use up to 75% less energy than comparable standard light bulbs to produce the same amount of light.
