Great to be thinking green in a big city like New York. In fact, the New York City Council has just issued 6 new taxicab permits for hybrid cars. According to Sierra magazine, there are approximately 13,000 cabs in the city. New York has the highest asthma-mortality rate in the United States (about 1 out of every 8 residents suffer from asthma). So, thinking green, this is exciting news, as it may spark a change for the future!
