According to CNet News.com, Apple Computer has announced plans to expand its free computer-recycling program.

Starting in June, Apple will allow U.S.-based purchasers of new systems to ship their old computers for free as part of its expanded recycling program. Buyers of these new Mac computers, however, must purchase their system through either an Apple retail store or its online e-commerce site.
