Recycled Southeast Asian Totes

ricebags_photo.jpg

Via UncommonGoods or re:modern, check out these distinctive fair trade hand-dyed and hand crafted by Cambodian women out of recycled bags that once carried commodities like rice. Each is obviously one of a kind.

Individual graphics will vary due to handcrafted nature. Colorful dyes will beautifully fade with wear. The bags are durable, sturdy and practical. Designs vary but all feature a recycled, woven plastic exterior with black cotton-lined interior and a magnetic snap closure.

They come in wallets too!
