Miami-based Citrine by the Stones formed in the summer of 2002. Born in the city of Lima in Peru, designers Mary, Michelle and Joanne Stone grew up strongly influenced by art and creativity. This rich background, as well as extensive traveling, has fueled them with the energy to these distinct pieces of jewelry.

Their Out of Africa collection was inspired by handmade and painted recycled glass, copper and nickel; beads found in distinct African villages in Togo, Gambia, Ethiopia and Kenya. As their website says, the result is an edgy, yet rustic combination of pieces in an array of colors and forms.
