Vivavi Bamboo Bottleneck Vases

vivavivase_photo.jpg

Vivavi was founded on the idea that modern living and environmental stewardship can coexist. Ultimately their idea is simple - live modern and tread lightly. The possibilities for doing so astound and inspire.

And one of those possibilities is their beautiful handspun bamboo bottleneck vase where a simple design adds bold colors to any room. Produced by Long-Island-based Mango Leaf, they are made with all-natural dyes. But why bamboo? Well, bamboo is one of the world’s most prolific and fastest-growing plants and is able to reach maturity in about four years, compared to the typical 25 to 70 years for commercial tree species in the U.S. Yes, bamboo is nature’s most sustainable resource and is grown without pesticides or chemicals, is 100% biodegradeable, and naturally regenerative.

And as several other companies we have highlighted are, Vivavi is a member of 1% For The Planet, an alliance of socially and environmentally responsible businesses that donate 1% of all sales to non-profit, non-governmental environmental organizations.
