Solar boat racing? How did we sleep on this?

From the ‘weird, wild and wonderful’ file, we give you the Frisian Nuon Solar Challenge. The idea is to help students draw attention to sustainable energy and to promote Friesland as a water sports region. That is why the solar-powered boat race is not only organised for students, but also as much as possible by students. The Frisian Nuon Solar Challenge therefore has practical training placements and practical assignments for students of various institutions in Friesland.

Sounds like fun.
