As I was doing research on why one should buy organic cotton baby clothes as opposed to conventional cotton baby clothes, I came across some alarming facts.

Three of the most harmful chemicals known to man are part of the dirty dozen! The Dirty Dozen, for those of you who don’t know, are persistent organic pollutants or POPs, they are the most hazardous of all man-made products or wastes that cause deaths, birth defects and diseases among humans and animals. Some 120 countries are trying to outlaw these chemicals and the U.S.A. is not on board yet! They are also trying to add another 20 to the list of 12 that they currently have.
