American Clay

americanclay_photo.gif

Clay plaster has been around for a long time, but until recently has not found a stronghold in modern architecture in our parts. That has started to change with the introduction of American Clay’s line of products. Now professional plastering companies, do-it-yourself homeowners and craftspeople have a wonderful green alternative to conventional wall plasters.

How is it ‘green’? American Clay uses natural clays, recycled and reclaimed aggregates, and natural pigments in each of their three finishes.

Clay plaster has always been one of the healthiest materials in the building industry. It has made its resurgence with the advent of green-building due to its environmentally friendly properties. And Amertican Clay has taken it one step further by actually making it easier to use.

In short, American Clay Earth Plaster is a practical, environmentally friendly alternative to cement, gypsum, acrylic, and lime plasters. Plus, it is non-dusting, mold and fade resistant, repairable and moisture controlling.
