As part of our tour across the continent, checking out local and regional ‘green’ fare, we stumbled across Horizon Organic Dairy.

Not so very long ago there were very few organic dairy products in the marketplace. And so Horizon founders Mark Retzloff and Paul Repetto embarked on a search for organic milk in order to make organic dairy products available in the marketplace. They happened upon a cooperative of small organic dairy farmers in Wisconsin.

From the discovery of that organic oasis, Horizon Organic yogurt, the company’s first product was introduced.
