Mod Green Pod

Spotted in a recent issue of Domino Magazine, Mod Green Pod sprouted from a simple quest. As the bio says, co-founders and sisters-in-law Nancy Mims and Lisa Mims loved swank design and sustainable goods, but they couldn’t find anything that combined the two. Refusing to choose one over the other, they started their own company to produce environmentally sensitive fabrics and wallpapers.

All Mod Green Pod products are environmentally-friendly and home-healthy - 100% organic cotton fabrics and a vinyl-free finish for wallpapers.

Grown without toxic chemicals or pesticides, organic cotton is healthier for the earth’s soil and water, animals, farmers, manufacturers, and the consumer. And here’s a crazy stat, conventional cotton production uses 25% of the world’s insecticides and 10% of the world’s pesticides, despite using only 3% of the world’s cropland.
