School Lunch Week: Litterles Lunches

fleurvillelunchpack_photo.jpg

This week we’re going to take a look at those lunches our kids take to school and how we can make them more ‘green’. On average, a school-aged child with a disposable lunch generates approximately 67 lbs. of waste per school year. That’s insane. Try not to think about what a whole school full of those pesky kids produces.

For more information on litterless lunches, try wastefreelunchs.org. And then check out this lead-free, insulated lunch bag from Fleurville. It’s heat reflective, easy to clean and PVF free too.

More to come as the week goes on…
