Greenthinkers Goes Ape for McGill Composting Program

You know we love composting here at Greenthinkers! that’s why I’m thrilled to tell you about Gorilla Composting at McGill:

The Gorilla Composting Team decided to attack the problem of McGill’s on-campus composting - or lack thereof. We have assembled a flexible proposal to bring campus-wide composting to McGill University. This will improve McGill’s environmental profile and provide an excellent opportunity for hands-on research and development. Many other Canadian universities, including Concordia University, have established timelines to implement a composting program. Composting is a necessity for sustainable agriculture - it creates a useful resource by biodegrading organic waste into compost, an in-demand source of soil nutrients which McGill can use.

Their web site has lots more info including composting tips, how to make your own composter and more.
