It’s a rare pleasure for us when we get to cite something sports-related. And this time it’s big time. Check out Sports Illustrated’s new issue as Alexander Wolff’s cover story deals with sports and global warming. A weird combo? Sure. But interesting nonetheless.

In their words, as global warming changes the planet, it is changing the sports world. To counter the looming environmental crisis, surprising and innovative ideas are already helping sports adapt.
