As part of President’s Choice’s’ recent Green product re-launch, they have started selling what they are calling Canada’s greenest shopping bag. And it just might be.

85% of the fabric comes from post-consumer recycled plastic soft drink and water bottles, meaning they are re-using raw materials and reducing the need for new polyester. Also, it is fully recyclable – just bring it back to the store at the end of its useful life and they’ll take care of the rest. All for $0.99, there isn’t much to complain about here.

This bag would do a great job toting around their new Green products - cold water laundry detergent, toilet bowl cleaner, etc., etc., etc. “Something must be done” indeed, about trying out the rest of this Green line.
