This may be our final Earth Day Countdown tip as the big day is this weekend and we’re running out of time. We’ll just have to save the thousands of others we had on tap until next year.

But we’re all for for one last kick at the can, so here goes. Switch to a biodegradable, plant-based dishwashing powder (Ecover, for example) as they don’t have bleach and phosphates which harm river ad marine life, and they leave chemical residue on your dishes. Pretty simple stuff, really.
