EDC #3: Skip Red Meat Once A Week

Here’s a fact you may not be aware of: meat production is extremely resource intensive. It can actually take over 7 pounds of grain to produce one pound of beef. That’s insane but true, it takes a lot to get that juicy, delicious morsel of meat to your barbecue every Sunday evening.

So here’s our Earth Day Countdown tip of the day…give it up the red meat just once a week and save the 840 gallons of fresh water it takes to produce a single serving.
