A couple of wind power-related theories on the go these days have really sparked our interest.

For one, a project proposing integrating ­wind turbines into the barriers between highway lanes that would harness the wind generated by passing cars to create energy, is a really cool idea. And secondly, the idea of roadways being retrofitted with overhead wind turbines that collect energy from quickly-moving cars is also, well, cool.

All are just in the ‘ideas’ stage but fun to toss around all the same.
