The newest publication from the Canadian Wildlife Federation was announced at the Green Living Show. Checkerspot will put climate change in the hands of Canadians as the country’s first magazine devoted entirely to climate change.

Named after the threatened butterfly species, the idea behind the magazine is to empower readers to take action in their own lives by exploring lifestyle choices, including emerging ideas on food, shelter and transit options, as well as by reviewing consumer products that can contribute to a climate-friendly way of life.

Hmm, sounds like Greenthinkers, The Magazine. Hopefully they can send us an issue or two so we can check it out for ourselves.
