While being a bastion of great product finds, the Green Living Show also brought us a few headlines, most of it involving a spat between politicians about the new Canadian government’s environmental initiatives which denote Canada will not meet its Kyoto targets until 2025 - 13 years late.

First, Al Gore called the federal government’s new green plan a “complete and total fraud … designed to mislead the Canadian public.” Then Canada’s Environment Minister accused Gore of criticizing the new plan without having read it. Then it just got ugly and we tuned out.

And so lower governemnts have decided to do their best to stay out of the fray and get to work on their own. Good choice. So have the so-called (shudder) T.H.U.G.S.
