iSAVE Water Faucet Gizmo
Metropolis Magazine’s 2007 Next Generation Awards winners and runners-up have been announced and here’s one that caught our eye: the iSAVE, an LED display for faucets and showers to make users aware of their water usage, and make them more inclined to save water.
Sure, it doesn’t save water but it does make you aware of how much you’re using. And it’s only powered by energy generated by the water passing through it’s tiny embedded turbine.
If only it didn’t have “i” in the name…

Comments are sorta kinda broken right now. We're working on it but to save energy can only work in daytime when solar system is at peak performance.
