Sea Bags

Maine-based Sea Bags produces surdy, waterproof and reliable bags made from sails since 1999.

Most of the bags (like most sails) are white or off white dacron, and each has a rope handle. Dacronis a polymer used in polyester production. And while that doesn’t scream ‘green’, at least it’s being re-used.

The CBC has a video piece here on a Nova Scotia company making a similar product.
