Spring cleaning tips abound these days. And one we never forget is the following: drop off all your old corrosive, flammable, explosive and poisonous hazardous waste like paint, medicines, batteries and propane tanks at your municipal hazardous waste depot. These things should never go in the regular garbage as the chemicals can obviously leech into the ground and into the water supply.
