Biodegradable Picks Used At Live Earth

We swear, we’re running out of Live Earth posts. But before we quit it, we had to mention this one - some acts at the shows this past weekend even went as far as using biodegradable drum sticks and guitar picks!

Check these out, Wheatware Bio-Compostable products are designed to biodegrade in 45 to 90 days in microbially-active soil or a commercial compost facility. Why wheat? On average there is a 50 billion bushel wheat surplus annually (150 million metric tons). There is a plentiful supply of wheat, an abundant, renewable resource.
