Amazon Fresh is here. Well, in Seattle at least.

Amazon Fresh is the big kahoona’s attempt at local grocery delivery, despite the fact that this sort of business has yet to take hold among consumers despite many, many attempts. The pilot project is in the Seattle area and we’re assuming this will be rolled out in other hot spots down the road. They offer fresh, frozen, and shelf-stable grocery items, all accessible with the click of a mouse.

And the reviews are coming in. Jessica Mintz of The Associated Press gave it a try and by all accounts enjoyed the process - good food in good condition, lots of organic choices, but too many bags.
