The word on the street today is that the Ontario government is proposing a plan for vehicles that meet certain enviro specifications (hybrids and such) whereby the Province would issue the special plate which would entitle the driver to special perks, like HOV lanes and parking discounts. This is part of an overall plan to encourage commuters and businesses to reduce greenhouse gases.

Let’s just hope this goes better than it did in Virginia.
