Yes, it’s Frankfurt Auto Show time again, and the focus, as always these days, is on the green.

Yesterday we profiled the Mercedes F700 concept, but today we turn our attention to another important newcomer - the Volkswagen Up! concept, which could be VW’s most important new vehicle since the New Beetle.

The Up!, while possibly being the first vehicle with an exclamation point in its name, has it’s engine mounted in the back, driving the rear wheels. Similar in size to the Smart, the Up! seats four in its 11.3’ length.It is definitely an exciting contender in the low-cost urban transportation, low CO2 emissions market.
