Econo-Heat electrical panel heaters are touted as the world’s most economical heaters.
The makers charge that these babies can heat 100-150 square feet for less than 3 cents an hour, are safe for children and pets, completely silent, wall mountable and even paintable to match your home decor. But how do they work? They use convection to circulate warm air - no fan power wastage here. In fact, no moving parts at all. Only 425 watts will heat an insulated 100-150 square foot room.
Econo-heat states that their system costs less than large central heating systems. Besides solar-powered and green-powered homes, is this another good way to go?

Comments are sorta kinda broken right now. We're working on it but to save energy can only work in daytime when solar system is at peak performance.
