While not completely concentrating on green cleaning, we got a kick out of Sheherazade Goldsmith’s A Slice Of Organic Life (Dorling Kindersley Publishers Ltd) all the same.

It’s a smorg, to be sure. Recipes are bunched up against cleaning tips, energy conservation ideas, recycling projects and even a how-to on raising pigs organically. And while it may not be the source to end all sources, it’s a fun ‘slice’ of life read.
