We’re no fan of the bottled water for many worthwhile reasons. But when we came across some information on this Volvic brand water, we thought it best to pass it along all the same.

It seems that Volvic has partnered with UNICEF to plan a big well-building program in Kenya to give Kenyans more access to clean drinking water. Over the next three years, sales of Volvic (sourced from a spring in France) will help fund the construction and maintenance of these wells in order to generate 7.5 billion liters of clean water over ten years - enough to supply 100,000 people.

They estimate that for each liter sold, ten liters of fresh water will be provided in Kenya. Hence the “Drink 1 Give 10” slogan.
