The FEED Bag project was started up by Lauren Bush to benefit the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), a frontline agency working to fight global hunger and help displaced refugees.

The FEED Bag is a new means of helping feed poor school children around the world while creating greater awareness of global hunger. A greener alternative to plastic shopping bags, the design (by Bush herself) was inspired by the large packs distributed to schools and refugee camps around the world. And the proceeds of selling it bag will feed a child at school for an entire academic year.
