Top 5 Grass-Fed Dairies: Traders Point Creamery

traderspointyogurt_photos.jpg

Our final grass fed dairy of the week had its Whole Milk Yogurt voted America’s best yogurt at the 2005 and 2006 American Cheese Society competition. Plus, this year their Raw Milk Fleur de la Terre won as well, not to mention that their Cottage Cheese, Whole Milk Yogurt, and Fromage Blanc also took home second place awards. That’s right, it’s Indiana’s own Traders Point Creamery.

The yogurt is quite something. Designed as a drinkable yogurt, it’s thick but pourable. But don’t be put off by the colour. Traders Point states that the slightly yellow tint is due to the milk being from 100% grass fed cows. Flavoured with organic vanilla extract.
