It’s not that we’re car crazy, it’s just that the hybrid and plug-in world is really pumping out the gems of late. And here is another - the Fisker Plug-In.

Details are scarce but rumour has it that this joint venture between Quantum Technologies and Fisker Coachbuild will feature cutting-edge plug-in hybrid technology penned as Quantum Drive, developed by Quantum Technologies exclusively for Fisker Automotive. This all-new plug–in Quantum Drive chassis layout will allow Fisker to design innovative luxury cars with uncompromised proportions.

We can expect to see this unveiled at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show in January as the company plans to make about 15,000 of them, for sale at around $100,000 each
