Miss Earth Pageant - Beauty For A Cause (So They Say)
Who knew it was Miss Earth time again? The Philippines did!
That’s right, Miss Earth 2007 was crowned this past weekend and the chosen one is Canadian Jessica Trisko.
The Miss Earth candidates officially began their quest for the crown two weeks ago, embarking on goodwill vists to various destinations in the Philippines and Vietnam. In keeping with the pageant’s purpose and theme, all destinations highlighted the beauty of the environment and the importance of its protection. It is the only major global beauty pageant that promotes care and preservation for the planets environment and ecology and requires its candidates and winners to embrace the cause.
