Tokyo Auto Show: Mazda5 Hydrogen Hybrid

The Tokyo Auto Show promises to go full tilt until its final moments. Case in point, the unveiling of the new Mazda Premacy (Mazda 5 for those in North America) RE Hydrogen Hybrid.
Party of Mazda’s Sustainable Zoom-Zoom project, this hydrogen concept, if produced, would have a rotary engine that runs on gasoline or hydrogen with an assist from an electric motor. And the concept on display also showed off Mazda’s Biotech material for interior plastic parts and seat fabrics, which is bound for commercial use at some point in the near future.
