Tokyo Auto Show: Toyota FT-MV Concept

toyotaftmv_photos.jpg

The idea behind the Toyota FT-MV is that it’s a high-end minivan. Odd concept? Maybe not so much.

The FT-MV sports a spacious six-seat, three-row MPV style with Business Class-style seats to pamper chauffeur-driven owners (or just a bunch of lucky kids) and their digital gadgets. Powered by a 2.4-litre petrol/electric hybrid engine, the FT-MV features reclining leather seats for the second row reminiscent of those in first-class on an airplane. According to Car & Driver, Toyota calls them “fully automatic ottomans,” and, of course, they have LCDs on the seatbacks.
