Lifekind’s mattresses are the first mattresses to be GREENGUARD certified, a recognition granted only to products that meet GREENGUARD’s exacting low-VOC emission standards. In fact, their mattresses even qualify for the stricter emission standards required for products that are sold for children and schools.

But what do they sell? They have both rubber and fabric mattresses. Their most economical organic mattress is 8” deep, designed with a traditional Bonnell-style innerspring, with a medium to firm-feel coil count The innerspring is covered with four layers of certified organic cotton canvas and six layers of sanitized certified organic cotton padding. The mattress is also covered with Naturally Safer™ pure wool quilted between two layers of certified organic cotton fabric.
