NAIAS: Smart's Stop-Start Technology

Smart hit NAIAS with one thing on its mind - stopping and starting.

That’s right, it’s here to show off its new “Stop-Start Hybrid” technology, a system which switches off the engine when braking and the car drops below 5MPH. The result, a Smart car that achieves 58MPG.
