The top 5 has returned. Let the celebration begin. This week’s list is a glance at beauty products out there containing one of our favourites - honey. First up, styling products. Two of our favourite honeyfied styling products are The Body Shop’s Beeswax Texturizing Wax and Murray’s 100% Pure Australian Beeswax.

From the Body Shop we get a beautifully creamy product that our testers loved for it’s lush, soft hold, texture and shaping ability. It gives short hair a loose, fashionably piecey look and contains Community Trade beeswax. The Community Trade process helps provide necessary income for the beekeepers, an increasing number of which are now women.

On the flipside, for hairstyles needing stronger hold, Murray’s Beeswax is easy to apply yet stiff. It’s a must for braids, dreadlocks and other hard to hold styles. Our testers indicated that this high grade beeswax is kind of tough to wash off one’s hands, but that it’s excellent styling ability makes in indispensable.
