As written in Real Simple, after buying a roomy LA duplex four years ago, Jessica Jensen and Jason Pelletier set about making several eco-sensitive improvements and were stunned by the lack of information on sustainable products and strategies for conserving energy and water.

Their curiosity soon grew into a calling, and by 2006 they had quit their jobs and launched Lowimpactliving.com, a site that helps its visitors find the best green products, practices and service providers to help achieve their environmental goals.
