green is black
green is black retails women’s and men’s green clothing, shoes, and accessories created by like-minded designers who use hemp, organic cotton, bamboo, and soy, as well as reclaimed, recycled and vintage materials. Further to that, they only deal with manufacturers who employ fairly paid labour in an attempt to eliminate the dilemma of choosing between fashion and ethics.

One product that recently caught our eye is Oom Ethikwear’s lightweight scarf. As its 100% organic cotton, it has none of the scratchiness of wool or the lack of breathability of synthetics. Made in Quebec, Canada by social integration organizations. Sweatshop free.
