Top 5 Honeyfied Beauty Products: Shampoo

bosyshophoneyshampoo_photos.jpg

To round out this deliciously sweet Top 5, we give you shampoo. And conditioner too.

The Body Shop’s Honey Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner are ‘specialist’ moisturizing products made with Community Trade organic honey, to soften and silken dry, brittle hair. Other ingredients include Brazil nut and olive oils to restore and prevent moisture loss, along with wheat amino acids to penetrate hair shaft and improve condition.

The Community Trade organic honey has been produced in the remote forests of northwest Zambia where it’s farmed using traditional methods that preserve the forest and beekeepers’ way of life. By choosing to buy items containing Zambian Community Traded honey, you’re helping to preserve an ancient way of life. And using the Brazil nut oil from the AmazonCoop also creates sources of income that are not related to mining, a major source of deforestation in the Amazon region.

Our testers absolutely loved both these products. The smell and feel alone won them over. And that they work well was just a great bonus.
