Casio Rocks The 80's Watches, Solar-Style
From Casio’s G-Shock line comes the G5500C. A digital watch in all its glory.
Greenthinkers-worthy, it comes with ‘Tough Solar Power Technology’ which combines a super sensitive solar panel with a high capacity rechargeable battery to power high-load functions. The G5500C’s auto light illuminates the display automatically when the watch is angled towards the face. The auto light features a power saving function so the switch only operates when available light is below a certain level.
No word on whether we’ll soon be seeing a calculator watch version.

Comments are sorta kinda broken right now. We're working on it but to save energy can only work in daytime when solar system is at peak performance.
