It’s top 5 time again. And it’s high time (sorry) we gave hemp another tip of the hat. Why? Why the heck not, it’s great stuff. All week we’ll be highlighting a bunch of great hemp-laced beauty products. Hemp is a relatively untapped resource in the beauty industry but we certainly support its use - it has an extremely high concentration of essential fatty acids that help to repair the skin’s moisture barrier thus helping to restore moisture, smoothness and suppleness.

First up, Hemp Face Protector from The Body Shop. Part of their new hemp line, this mega-moisturizer feels light, clean and very effective. Our testers gave it very high marks - they remarked that after a full day, their faces still didn’t feel greasy. No oily T-zones!

This stuff also features Community Trade shea butter from Ghana, which is nice.
