According to National Geographic’s Human Footprint, Americans generated 251 million tons of trash in 2006. The per capita trash disposal rate was 4.6 pounds per person, per day. 65% came from residences, while 35% came from schools and commercial locations such as hospitals and businesses. Comments are sorta kinda broken right now. We're working on it but to save energy can only work in daytime when solar system is at peak performance.
