The Solaris Mower

According to the Government of Canada, a gasoline powered lawn mower emits about 48 kilograms (106 lbs) of greenhouse gas in one season. It is roughly estimated that there are 56 million lawn mowers in operation at the moment in North America and Europe. These lawn mowers produce around 3 million tones of greenhouse gas per year. And that’s why the Solaris Mower is a good option, in addition to the several we mentioned last spring.

Outperforming its gasoline-powered competitors, the Solaris features a longer lifespan, quieter operation, an easier start (push button), an easier push (self propelled), no emissions, and more economical to run. Oh, and did we mention it’s solar powered?

If purchased with the solar panel option, it will produce no greenhouse gases. The solar panel will recharge the batteries in approximately 3 sunny days or 4-5 cloudy days. The lawn mower is self propelled, easy to use, and will typically cut 7,000 to 10,000 sq. ft of grass per charge depending on conditions.

Sweet.
