GT World Watch: Celine Dion Causes Droughts
Singer Celine Dion used 6.5million gallons of water at her home last year - the most in her local Florida county. That amount of water is enough to fill a 50-gallon bathtub every four minutes. Hmm, seems high. Most homes in the area use just 10,000 gallons a month to water the grass and clean their cars.
In other celebrity news, golfer Tiger Woods used 3.7million gallons of water at his 12-acre Florida estate - much of it is believed to irrigate the landscape.
